The little guy is my new dog, Ranger. The bit bigger boy is Cowboy, my foster who I think I may end up keeping. Ranger and Cowboy l-o-v-e one another!

Only 1 week after Otis passed Pickle too passed away. It was and is still devastating...

Otis 1992 to 2009. A life well spent.

"Otis last day Sept 14 2009 spent at the beach"
Otis' favorite place in the world was the beach. He knew many words and sentences. If I said, do you want to go to the beach, Otis would be by the door jumping up & down to get out. Once we got near the beach he would whimper & pace in the car. He never had the same reaction to the park, the beach was where it was at. Yesterday before the vet came we went to Crissy Field for one last beach run. Otis gave it his all despite not feeling well. Here are the pics from just one hour before I said goodbye. I love & miss you so much, O

Otis cancer has returned. He's not doing so well so I'm trying to make every day count. He still looks good on camera!
















At the end of the day Otis settles in for the drive home...

Meet this handsome young man, Lefty! He's looking for someone to take him home & love him the way he deserves to be loved.

Lefty had a rough beginning and is ready for a new life. Thanks to foster mom Brandy, a volunteer for Grateful Dog, Lefty has had a roof over his head and the first taste of real love he's ever encountered. Brandy has dogs of her own and can't keep Lefty so if you are looking for an easy going, gentle guy who is loving yet independent, gets along with dogs, cats and people alike then this is the dog for you! Lefty is a special needs dog and will perhaps need meds throughout his life. My furry beast was tamed with the shortest haircut I've ever seen on him. He looks so funny & cute. He has bushy eyebrows & a wrinkly forehead.

A side note. I can't get Otis to stop howling at me when I take his picture these days. The moment I whip out the camera he starts up. He never did this as a young dog. It recently started within the last year. I will be shooting another dog and Otis will come over, push the dog out of the way, put himself in the frame and start howling. It's fascinating and a little funny.

River the Portuguese Water Dog & Tuuli the white Golden are the newest members in group. I'm lovin' them already!

Tuuli and River are brother and sister. Tuuli the younger sibling is as sweet, affectionate and innocent as they come while River is wise, soulful and loving.
























Tuuli decided to mooch in on this groups treat hand outs. There she is beggin' with the best of them on the right.

Utah loves the fact that Iris is sleeping over. They have a pajama party every night. It starts all over again the very next morning!

I'm boarding Jake and Utah is very happy about it...

Sal is staying a while and Harvey's visiting for one night! Life is good.
